About Me

In my late teens and early twenties I enoyed a lot of walking and competed in many long distance walking competitions.  However as with most things in life I settled down, got married, started a family and my walking took a back seat.  A recent change in personal circumstances has meant I have been able to re-discover my passion for walking.  It had always been an ambition of mine to complete a long distance walk and I was able to complete The Dales Way in the summer of 2010.

About this Site

Within this website you will find a collection of photographs taken during my many walks.  I am not an expert photographer by any means and I use an everyday Fuji Finepix A610 digital camera.  I usually take several hundred pictures each time I go out walking and work on the principle that by doing this there will probably be a few worth keeping.

Over the coming months I will be adding more photographs and new walks.
If you have any ideas or sugesstions on how I can improve this website and make it more interesting then please do not hesitate to get in touch using the form on my Contact Me page.

You are welcome to use any of my photographs on this site for non-commercial use only but please credit Keith Watkins as the photographer.  If you use them to appear on a website please include a link back to this website

On Saturday 16 July 2011 I will be taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to help raise money for the British Red Cross.
